The guardian has an article that lays into the Ashley vale self build. I have to admit that I have heard similar criticism voiced. I remember commenting on how cool their traffic calming was then somebody said that it was not put in so much as to stop traffic but was more about moving the travelers on. I hope that is not true. I have also head people say that it does not help the housing situation in Bristol to build such huge houses for only one or two people to live in, but then its not as if there are not existing houses in Bristol that are huge with only one or two people living in them. here's some of the article, read full story / add a comment

Look is this relevant to Bristol?
Yup - sure is - WEF meeting starts today in the city of eggshells. Lots of people are planning to ignore the threats from the press and police and take to the streets of NYC - others are up to some major online subversion - have a look at some of the lonks below - and think about insidious Bristol targets to ream/alter/expose.
