We warmly invite everyone and anyone to come together once again in a precious opportunity to meditate or sit in silence.
We shall be offering this 30 minutes of tranquillity to our beautiful and often busy city of Bristol at 2.30pm on Saturday 28th July 2012 on College Green.
There will also be an opportunity for us all to share some time together following the meditation. If you would like to join us then please bring some food for a shared picnic, and feel free to bring instruments, hugs, and smiles - as you wish :-)
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO SIT IN PEACE?
To Sit in Peace means to rest in your true nature, which is peace itself. In doing this, not only do you honour that eternal truth within you, but in silent and invisible ways - you share it with the world.
Whatever your background, path, or practice - in essence we are one. Sit in Peace recognises this and celebrates it by gathering in devotion to the heart of every being, every religion and every spiritual path.
We look forward to sharing this very special event with you - to commune, to connect, and to Sit in Peace.
PREVIOUS FEEDBACK:
"Beautiful being part of Sit in Peace meditation today in Bristol. Wonderful energy and special time."
"Just back from this...totally blissful vibe, radiating peace put to Brizzle and beyond."
"Just back from the Flashmob meditation outside the cathedral in Bristol City. Such a beautiful, rich and full experience of depth, quietude, gentleness and love. Seeing beautiful faces I 'know' and meeting some new friends too. Thank you to all x x x Sublime..."
"I've just got home after participating in a flash mob meditation event! Silent and more static than the usual dancing and stuff of course - but fabulous. At College Green in Bristol, just sitting and meditating for 30 minutes, connecting up with some global spiritual leaders doing the same."
"Medmob 31 March 2012, College Green, Bristol. Stillness and contemplation in the heart of the city. Extraordinary :)"
"Thanks, this felt very meaningful, may everyone experience lasting peace!"
"I recently attended my first MedMob in my hometown and loved it! I’m officially addicted. What a beautiful way to unite heart-centred people with a shared goal and common interest. I felt a deep connection with everyone who was there and no longer felt like an isolated meditator who shares their passion with so few."
