![]() Visions for Change: Inspiration for a better Bath and beyond On Saturday 28th April, a diverse range of forward-thinking groups, organisations and campaigns will be gathering under one roof for an afternoon to display and talk about their work and their visions for change in the world. With groups with a local focus such as Friends of Longacre Hall to national and international groups including Greenpeace, Oxfam and Friends of the Earth attending, this promises to be an interesting, informative and thought provoking event with stalls and talks throughout the afternoon. Planning for the event began in January, and the organisers have been delighted by the response from the various organisations. One organiser commented: “Each organisation is working in some way to create a better world on a local, national or international level and we wanted to create an event where they can share their ideas with each other and the public.” The event, organised by Bath People’s Assembly, an independent democratic forum for discussion, debate and formulation of ideas and proposals, to which all are invited to attend, will take place between 12:00 and 15:00 on Saturday 28th April at the Friends’ Meeting House. There will also be a fair trade café. Admission is free and people are welcome to drop in for a brief visit or stay for the whole day and listen to all of the talks. The full list of those confirmed as attending (with more to be announced shortly) is as follows:
