The Royate Hill Community Orchard crew is hoping to transfer a greenhouse from one of the houses near the allotment site to the top of the hill.
If you've been to Mike Feingold's allotment, you know how steep a hill it is! We need all available hands, so if you can come along, it would be a great help.
There is also plenty of other orchard work to do: Mulcing around existing orchard trees Coppicing rootstock and heeling in for grafting Wracking cider off a big barrel or two... On our allotment, we've got to get some compost out and plant winter peas & beans Of course, there is also the ever present weeding... More info: This Saturday, 21st January 11am - 4pm (weather permitting - the forecast is for a cloudy but mild day) - drop in any time we usually stop for lunch around 1pm - please bring food to share & we'll provide the mulled cider and other hot drinks map: http://bristol.indymedia.org/attachments//703383_photo_1.pdf

If you're interested in buying any cider, please give Mike a ring on 07768915423

Cheers!
