In 2010 Bristol’s most intrepid sporting club, Easton Cowboys and Cowgirls, ventured to Palestine for their second excursion to the West Bank. It was an exhausting tour that took in nine games in eight days and proved to be eye opening experience for the players, who all gained new insights into the realities of life in the Occupied Territories. This evening features the film of the tour and a talk by members of the Cowboys and Cowgirls.

Also featured is activist and film maker Conor McCormack who will be discusssing his latest short - a documentary made in collaboration with Palestinian children, and Circus 2Iraq who recently came back from Palestine and will be talking about how playing games can break down the physical and mental barriers that life in a war zone can cause. 

This event is part of the 10 day long Bristol Palestine Film Festival.
