As Palestine Statehood Debate Hits UN; Bristol Hosts Talk on Israeli 'Apartheid'

As the Palestinian statehood debate goes to UN, a political activist from Israel arrives in Bristol to talk about why she is resisting her government's policies; Leehee Rothschild, a young political activist from Israel will talk about her opposition to the apartheid, supremacist and militarist Israeli state. She has been active in the Refusnik campaign, Anarchists Against the Wall, Boycott From Within, and a wide range of human rights campaigns within Israel. She has supported Palestinian struggles such as at Bilin and is on a speaking tour of the UK promoting the international Boycott campaign.

 She will be speaking at a public meeting entitled “Resisting from Within” organised by the Bristol Palestine Solidarity Campaign on Tuesday 27th September at 7.30pm at Hamilton House, Stokes Croft (opp Jamaica Street) Bristol BS1 3QY. Free entry and all welcome.
