Members of the site stakeholder group will hold its quarterly meeting at Olveston Parish Hall, when the situation in Japan after the earthquake and tsunami last month is expected to be raised.

THE group that receives updates on Oldbury nuclear power station is to meet for the first time since the Fukushima crisis in Japan.

Any member of the public is welcome to attend and ask questions of Oldbury site director Dr Phil Sprague, representatives of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority, nuclear industry regulators and the Environment Agency.

The Oldbury meeting starts at 1pm on Wednesday, April 20.
